We’re excited to share that our 2025–2027 Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan is officially finalised!
This is our second Innovate RAP, and it builds on everything we’ve learned over the past few years about ourselves, our work, and what meaningful reconciliation can look like in practice. At Terra Rosa, we work alongside elders in nearly every project we do, for this reason reconciliation isn’t a side project; it’s involved in everything we do. Whether it’s cultural heritage work, community projects, environmental management, or our day-to-day operations, we’re constantly asking how we can do better, listen more, and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Some of the actions we’re especially proud of include:
-
Partnering with over 20 Traditional Owner groups on Country across Australia.
-
Supporting initiatives like the Budadee Ranger Program and the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title journey.
-
Offering training, cadetships, and cultural awareness programs across the team.
-
Working with Aboriginal businesses and supporting initiatives like the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
Our new RAP helps formalise all this good stuff while setting clear goals to keep us accountable. We’re keeping things real by acknowledging the challenges, learning as we go, and aiming to build genuine, long-term partnerships.
Art, Stories & Reflection: Reconciliation Week at Fremantle Arts Centre
To wrap up Reconciliation Week, a few of us spent Friday afternoon at the Fremantle Arts Centre, taking in two incredible exhibitions: It’s Always Been Always and works by the Karrabing Film Collective.
Karrabing’s films blend humour, resistance, and storytelling in a way that was really engaging and It’s Always Been Always reminded us of the power of art in truth-telling, history, and healing. Being there as a team, surrounded by powerful stories and voices, was the perfect way to reflect on why this work matters.
We know reconciliation is a journey, not a checklist. And while we’re proud of how far we’ve come, we’re also keen to keep listening, learning, and showing up.
