This year two of our fantastic Terra Rosa archaeologists submitted blogs for the Day of Archaeology! The Day of Archaeology is an annual project which explores the real day to day life of archaeologists. Archaeologists from all over the world are able to volunteer to write, photograph or film a day at work and document it online for anyone to see. The purpose of the Day of Archaeology is to “demonstrates the wide variety of work our profession undertakes day-to-day across the globe, and helps to raise public awareness of the relevance and importance of archaeology to the modern world.” Thank you to our authors for submitting their Terra Rosa stories! Additional thanks go to all the volunteers who commit their time in running the Day of Archaeology and spreading archaeology passion and dedication around the world!
