It is not often that people associate archaeologists and anthropologists with glamour, but on Friday 19th of July, we Terra Rosans will be dressing up and sponsoring an event to raise money for charity. The event is a charity fashion show featuring both men’s and women’s collections from LittleGracie, Leo and Spargo, Petra Vanessie Designs and Blair Nelson.
The event which will also include an auction and local musicians is raising money for the David Wirrpanda Foundation’s Deadly Sista Girlz program. The program offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls a stable environment in which they are mentored so they can grow into role models in their community and achieve their chosen career goals. Further, it is aimed at empowering the girls so they make informed decisions about their own health and wellbeing.
As a company, we are very passionate about helping the communities that we work with and so this will be a great chance to dress up and help a very worthwhile cause!
