Last Wednesday was Environmental Day! We at Terra Rosa CRM try our best to do our bit for the environment and we are very proud of our own Community Relations Manager Blaze Kwaymullina and his article posted on ‘The Conversation’. Blaze has co-written ‘Environmental Day 2013: Caring for Country, including Sea Country, brings value to society’.  The article focuses on two recent events – the Australian High Court case on sea rights and the major expansion of the Dhimurru Sea Country Indigenous Protected Area (northern tip of the Gulf of Carpentaria). The article explores how Indigenous communities are working with the Federal government and private sector to care for Sea Country and the social, cultural and economic benefits that derive from these important partnerships.
